Webinar Summary

During the webinar, Michele Archie, Harbinger Consultancy principal, provided an overview of the new Conducting and Using Visitor and Recreational User Research Do-It-Yourself Guide and Toolkit developed with support from ORCBC.

The objectives of the webinar was to help the webinar participants:

  • Become familiar with the guide and the resources it provides to support low-cost, DIY research.

  • Understand how to make a research plan that fits your organization, situation and resources.

  • Know what information you need to collect if you want to estimate the economic impact of your trails and outdoor recreation.

Michele Archie is principal of The Harbinger Consultancy, a firm based in the U.S. Rocky Mountain Western region. Michele leads Harbinger’s work in community and regional economic analysis, outdoor recreation, and community-based education and tourism.
