During the webinar, Michele Archie, Harbinger Consultancy principal, provided an overview of the new Conducting and Using Visitor and Recreational User Research Do-It-Yourself Guide and Toolkit developed with support from ORCBC.
The objectives of the webinar was to help the webinar participants:
Become familiar with the guide and the resources it provides to support low-cost, DIY research.
Understand how to make a research plan that fits your organization, situation and resources.
Know what information you need to collect if you want to estimate the economic impact of your trails and outdoor recreation.
Michele Archie is principal of The Harbinger Consultancy, a firm based in the U.S. Rocky Mountain Western region. Michele leads Harbinger’s work in community and regional economic analysis, outdoor recreation, and community-based education and tourism.
