The Sunshine Coast Trails Society (SCTS) is hosting a User Forum, and we need your active participation to ensure its success. This event is designed to connect invested organizations with the public and shape the future of our trails.
SCTS User Forum: An Opportunity for Collaboration and Engagement
• Date: Saturday, May 24th 2025
• Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Setup at 2:30 PM)
• Location: Sechelt Seaside Centre
This is not just a public gathering; it's a strategic platform for your organization to:
• Engage Directly with the Public:
◦ Meet potential new members and answer their questions.
◦ Showcase your organization's activities and contributions.
• Network and Collaborate:
◦ Build vital connections with other trail organizations, local businesses, logging industry and local government representatives.
◦ Foster partnerships to address shared challenges and opportunities.
• Influence Trail Management:
◦ Provide valuable input on trail accessibility, maintenance, and future development.
◦ Share your organization's maps and publications.
• Provide crucial feedback:
◦ Inform the SCTS about the challenges that your organization faces.
Your Organization's Role:
We are reserving dedicated spaces for each activity type (hikers, bikers, ATV riders, dog walkers, logging representatives, etc.). We will provide:
• Tables for your displays and materials.
• Maps of local trails.
• Light refreshments.
We request that your organization:
• Arrive at 2:30 PM to set up your table and displays.
• Provide organizational materials and information.
• Assist with cleanup after the event.
Commitment and Communication:
Your confirmed participation is essential for the forum's success. We will be updating our promotional materials and website with a list of participating organizations.
